The Author

Terry was educated at The Wesley Hall Boys' Infants and Primary Schools  and then at  The Lodge School. He later received a diploma from The City & Guilds of London in Electronics at The Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic.
His Sixteen years as a Free-lance Graphic Artist and Computer Technician has afforded him the opportunity, through the variety and the nature of jobs he has done, to hone his talents and abilities to the full. He believes that the full potential of the Personal Computer and its application in almost every facet of our existence has not yet reached its zenith, a fact which continually draws and fascinates him. He did not recognize his potential as a writer until he started compiling his collection of poetry, prose and short stories that had been written and hidden away over the years.
Terry is not yet published but hopes that this production is the gateway to this becoming a reality.

The Book

Grass is a comedic Limerick view of the historic game of Cricket. It was written by a young man who sought in a hilarious way to document the history of cricket.
This 40-page masterpiece captures the full essence of the cricketing world from the crowd’s reactions at the game, the anticipation of the batsman as he prepares to bat to the many positions on the cricket field. He masterfully intertwines the contribution of the cricketing greats and their feats, their humble beginnings, introduces cricketers from across continents without over-embellishing their contribution.
He uses the many positions on the cricket field to introduce the historical satire to his audience. This is not just written for the novice, but for the experienced cricketer and the armchair commentators.
